PFAEFFIKON, SWITZERLAND, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MONDAINE introduces the Zurich Meeting Point Clock, a miniature interpretation of the iconic meeting point at Zurich Main Station. Standing 170 mm high, the new Swiss Made clock brings a familiar piece of Zurich into everyday spaces.
At its centre is a 50 × 50 × 50 mm cube set on a brushed aluminium stand. The circular meeting point symbol and directional arrows recreate the recognisable features of the original structure, transforming a public landmark into a compact design object. Balanced in scale and presence, it fits naturally into a variety of settings, from desks and bedside tables to modern living spaces and creative work environments.
The clock draws on the design of the Official Swiss Railways Station Clock, created by Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker for the Swiss Federal Railways in 1944. Defined by exceptional clarity and its distinctive red second hand, the clock has become an internationally recognised symbol of Swiss design.
Since 1986, MONDAINE has brought this design beyond Switzerland’s railway platforms through its watches and clocks. The Zurich Meeting Point Clock takes that connection one step further, translating a familiar Zurich landmark into a three-dimensional object for everyday life.
