Allison Worldwide, a Stagwell (STGW) agency, today announced the launch of the Allison Gen Z Collective, a collaboration with American University’s School of Communication and its student-run communications agency, SOC3 (Communication Collaborative for Change). Allison’s Gen Z Collective creates an ongoing feedback loop for the beliefs and behaviors of Gen Z consumers and future communicators, giving Allison Worldwide teams another way to understand the communities and emerging signals influencing the generation. The program not only expands the agency’s consumer offering, but it also extends Allison’s point of view that relevance isn’t built by chasing moments alone. Rather, it’s earned in community and amplified in culture.

“Brands can’t build relevance by simply chasing the latest trend. They need to understand the people, communities, platforms and cultural forces shaping what comes next,” said Lisa Rosenberg, Global President, Consumer Brands, Allison Worldwide. “The Allison Gen Z Collective serves as an always-on sounding board and adds direct Gen Z audience perspective to our cross-generational expertise that we serve clients with every day. It will help us challenge assumptions, pressure-test ideas and ultimately create work that is sharper, more relevant and more resonant.”

The Allison Worldwide Gen Z Collective will engage two cohorts of SOC3 students across the fall and spring semesters through structured assignments and informal feedback sessions. Allison and SOC3 will collaborate on a diverse set of engagements per semester, shaped by client, agency and new business priorities. Engagements may include cultural and category trend briefings, creative concept reviews, campaign pressure-testing, messaging and content feedback, brand relevance assessments and emerging platform discussions.

“After working with Allison last year, I’m thrilled for SOC3 to continue our partnership through this collaboration,” said Professor Pallavi Kumar, SOC3 Faculty Director, American University School of Communication. “This advances American University’s School of Communication’s commitment to experiential learning and gives our students an opportunity to bring their perspectives to real business challenges while learning directly from communications professionals. It creates a valuable exchange between today’s industry leaders and the next generation of communicators.”

Allison’s cross-generational intelligence capabilities also include the recently launched Gen Alpha Household Influence Study. This fuels the Allison Worldwide and HarrisX Gen Alpha Household Intelligence Platform, the first brand performance system designed to measure how brands win and lose across the full Gen Alpha household capturing the two-way influence loop that existing trackers miss entirely.

“From Gen Z to Gen Alpha, younger generations are already shaping what households buy, which brands gain relevance and where culture moves next,” said Anne Colaiacovo, CEO, North America of Allison Worldwide. “That’s why we’re investing in community building, direct access and intelligence across Gen Z and Gen Alpha to help our clients better understand not just what younger consumers care about today, but what will drive their preferences, decisions and loyalty in the future.”

While Allison gains closer access to emerging generational perspectives from the Gen Z Collective, SOC3 students will benefit from exposure to real client assignments – including campaign development and new business challenges – as well as opportunities to learn from Allison Worldwide leaders about agency roles and career pathways.

Allison Worldwide’s Gen Z Collective will kick off with an exploration of the behaviors, communities, platform shifts and cultural signals shaping Gen Z to help brands stay ahead of what’s now and what’s next.
