Sciensus to deliver a fully integrated home pathway for Tumour Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Sciensus, one of the UK’s largest providers of home-based healthcare, today announced a new agreement with global oncology company Novocure to deliver a fully integrated, consultant-led home treatment pathway for eligible private patients prescribed Tumour Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy in the UK. Through the agreement Sciensus will deliver Novocure’s TTFields therapy for glioblastoma, mesothelioma and non-small cell lung cancer through its’ nationwide homecare infrastructure and specialist oncology services.

TTFields are alternating electric fields that disrupt processes critical for cancer cell division and survival, resulting in cancer cell death without significantly affecting healthy cells. A wearable medical device is used to deliver TTFields therapy non-invasively through arrays placed on the skin.

Through the agreement, Sciensus will deliver an integrated, fully consultant-led home treatment pathway that combines specialist oncology care, nationwide homecare services and ongoing patient support, for eligible private patients to access TTFields therapy. Patients can also access SACT (systemic anti-cancer treatment) appropriate to the Novocure treatment in accordance with approved indication.

The service builds on Sciensus’ experience of delivering complex cancer treatments safely in the home through specialist oncology nurses, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacists, nationwide logistics and digital care pathways.

For patients, the pathway brings together specialist clinical care alongside dedicated device support specialists, helping make treatment more co-ordinated and easier to manage.

For consultants, it provides a practical route to offer TTFields therapy, while maintaining consultant-led care beyond the hospital setting.
