HAWTHORNE, CA, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Systems Technology, Inc. (STI) is pleased to announce its acquisition of key technology assets, intellectual property, and government research programs from Bolder Flight Systems (BFS), an aerospace engineering company that develops advanced flight control and data acquisition systems. Brian Taylor, BFS’s founder and CEO, will join STI to lead the development of autonomous technologies for UAS, while BFS continues to operate its commercial products business under a license from STI.
The two companies have collaborated successfully for several years. This transaction deepens that relationship and positions STI to accelerate the development of secure, fully U.S.-built flight control and UAS solutions for military and government research applications.
“Acquiring these technology assets and SBIR programs from Bolder Flight Systems significantly strengthens STI’s presence in the rapidly growing UAS market and enhances our ability to provide trusted, American-made autonomy technologies,” said Mike Jones, Ph.D., Vice President of Aerospace at STI. “Brian brings exceptional technical expertise that complements our aerospace engineering capabilities and enhances the solutions we provide to our customers.”
Taylor will play a key role in strengthening STI’s UAS strategy, leveraging his experience in flight control systems and autonomous aircraft technologies.
“Working with STI creates an exciting opportunity to accelerate innovation in autonomous flight systems,” said Brian Taylor.
STI will continue investing in advanced flight control and autonomy systems to support the evolving needs of government and commercial operations.
