HELLDIVERS™2 will be added to the PlayStation®Plus Game Catalog starting today, announced Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can join squads of up to four players in the cooperative third-person shooter, working together to complete challenging, high-stakes missions set against the backdrop of an evolving Galactic War.

This addition further expands the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on-demand library*, which currently also includes blockbuster hits such as The Last of Us Part I, God of War Ragnarök, and Ghost of Tsushima. PlayStation Plus members enjoy other benefits including cloud streaming, game trials, exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, cloud storage and more depending on the subscription tier they choose.

Content for HELLDIVERS 2 also continues to expand since its initial launch with new storylines, enemy types, character customization options, and collaborations that further evolve the gameplay experience. The HELLDIVERS 2 x Warhammer 40,000: Castellan’s Creed Legendary Warbond

Beginning today, a new warbond** will be available for purchase which offers armors, weapons, and vehicle patterns for players to customize their Helldiver. The HELLDIVERS 2 x Warhammer 40,000: Castellan’s Creed Legendary Warbond brings iconic elements of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe into HELLDIVERS 2, drawing inspiration from the Cadian Kasrkin, the elite shock assault troops of Warhammer 40,000’s Astra Militarum.

A Dark New Chapter Begins with “Devoid of Liberty”

The Galactic War enters darker territory with “Devoid of Liberty,” a new horror-themed narrative arc beginning today that introduces the first signs of a nightmarish threat emerging from a mysterious void in the galaxy.

The opening chapter will send players toward the void as mutated Illuminate organisms begin appearing across the battlefield. As the story unfolds, the void will warp everything it touches, leading players into a new biome and transforming familiar foes into hideous new forms.

The Helldivers franchise will expand further with a film adaptation from Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions, scheduled for theatrical release on November 10, 2027.
