Denver, Colorado – September 15, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
Denver Dive, an independent digital publication covering the culture, food, and lifestyle of Denver, Colorado, has named Colin Wrenn as a Co-Founder and Editor of the publication. Wrenn brings more than a decade of food, drink, and luxury travel journalism experience to the role, with a body of work focused primarily on dining across Denver, Boulder, and the broader Colorado mountain region.
Prior to joining Denver Dive, Wrenn’s writing appeared across numerous Colorado publications, including The Denver Post and The Boulder Weekly. His work has also been featured nationally in Food & Wine, The Infatuation, and Inked, among other outlets, giving him a byline history that spans both regional and national audiences. That combination of local depth and national perspective has informed the editorial direction he has brought to Denver Dive’s food and beverage coverage since the publication’s founding.
At Denver Dive, Wrenn oversees the publication’s Pour and Plate desk, which covers food and drink through the lens of the people and operations that make up Denver’s culinary landscape. His coverage since the publication’s launch has included reporting on new restaurant openings, bar culture, and the personalities driving Denver’s dining scene, with recent pieces covering new restaurant concepts in neighborhoods including Wash Park, RiNo, and Sunnyside. He has also reported on the city’s bar and cocktail culture, including coverage of new concepts filling gaps left by recent closures within Denver’s nightlife scene.
Wrenn’s reporting approach favors depth over surface-level coverage, often returning to the people behind a restaurant or bar concept rather than treating an opening as a standalone event. His features have explored how restaurateurs and bartenders are responding to shifts in the city’s dining culture, including pieces examining new establishments built around niche culinary concepts and the personal histories of the chefs and operators behind them.
Wrenn’s appointment reflects Denver Dive’s broader approach to staffing its editorial desks with journalists who bring established expertise and existing relationships within the communities they cover. The publication has structured its team around contributors who are embedded in Denver’s cultural landscape rather than observing it from a distance, a model that extends across each of its five editorial verticals.
Denver Dive launched on April 30, 2026, as an independent publication built around covering the music, art, food, style, and culture of Denver outside of the algorithm-driven coverage that has come to dominate much of local media. The publication’s founding team includes seven journalists and contributors who collectively oversee its editorial sections, with each desk led by a writer whose background aligns closely with the subject matter being covered.
Denver Dive’s coverage under Wrenn’s direction has continued to expand since launch, with recent features covering new restaurant concepts, bar reopenings, and the personalities shaping the city’s dining and drinking culture. The publication has indicated that its Pour and Plate desk will continue to expand its coverage as Denver’s restaurant and bar scene evolves throughout the year, with an emphasis on stories that reflect the people and relationships behind the city’s food and beverage industry.
