WEST BLOOMFIELD – Four months after an incident described as a “Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism,” Temple Israel is undergoing extensive restoration work following a man’s crash of a pickup truck loaded with fireworks into the building.
The attack, which occurred in West Bloomfield, resulted in significant smoke, fire, and water damage throughout the synagogue. The building serves as a hub for a childcare center that accommodates nearly 105 students and is staffed by over 50 teachers and employees.
